Grief-4

As we’ve learned this month, our heart energy can become vulnerable to the mental and emotional traumas of life which can result in physical disease and/or a depleted sense of access to our inner truth and light. Though our inner heart light always remains strong and bright, it can become hidden within the clouds of heavy energy we create. One of the greatest impacts is that of grief. Grief is a word used to describe a deep sense of anguish or painful suffering due to loss, affliction or overwhelming regret.

A common epitaph of late was “She/He died of a broken heart” allows us the sense of impact that grief can have upon our energy and our forward movement in life. The loss of a loved one, especially a child, can not be healed with simple words. It can be a sense of loss that moves with us through lifetimes. It is only in our strong resolve within the light to move forward and honor our loved one that the burden begins to lift and the light begins to heal. Calling forth the Mother aspect of God, Holy Spirit and Comforter to infill and enfold us in the light begins to heal and lift the pain a layer at a time.

In my many experiences as a spiritual intuitive, the greatest burden for those that cross over is the grief of their loved ones left behind. And though it is not the same as physical contact, know that you are never truly parted. You may or may not be able to see or hear, but our loved ones are close and can hear our thoughts, especially in quiet moments of connection. Love is the energetic cell that connects us with those living or those who have transitioned from this life.

Our departed loved ones have a strong connection with nature and energy. They leave us signs of butterflies, birds, deer, special flowers and smells. They will turn on the TV or play with the lights and electricity in the home. Often times they will leave pennies or representations of other connections we may have had. They want us to know that they are doing well. The most common response I get from those that have fully transitioned is the intense peace that they feel. Our loved ones on the other side understand that our earth life is simply a tiny blip in time.

Grief can show its head with loss of a love relationship and divorce. We need to ask if the energy of this person was/is truly right for us? Have we outgrown each other? What did I learn from the relationship? In this simple act of acknowledging the gift within the experience, it may allow us to draw our next relationship at a new level of consciousness. We also need to learn to separate the grief from the fear we hold of moving forward.

Affliction, illness and/or the process of aging is another common causal scenario for grief. Again, this life is but a blip in time. We are here to live in the moment, to connect, to create and to grow. What we focus on expands. Focus on healing light, love and gratitude. We all have a gift to give by sharing our hearts freely.

This week in daily meditation bring in the healing light of Mother God, Holy Spirit and your Higher Self to infill, enfold and comfort. Recognize your grief, asking for release and transformation. Depending on the source of grief you are holding, refer to the questions above. Please send light each day for all of those experiencing grief due to the covid pandemic.

I hope you have grown and opened your hearts this month in our Awakening the Heart of Man series on releasing Emotional Trauma or Hurt, Regret, Resentment and Grief. Under Meditation, please enjoy the full July-Awakening the Heart of Man for a short time.
