Mindful Desire-1

This Month under Our World, Our Life, we are planting individual and global foundational seeds of Mindful (Mind-Full) Creation. Article Available August 15th. In this series of Manifesting Our Dreams, we will look each week at a step necessary in the creation process. We are creating all the time without a clue of the effects they have in our life and the lives of those around us.

This week, we begin our August series with Mindful Desire. To be Mindful is to be Aware or Conscious of something. Our goal this month is to create with inner awareness using our FULL MIND or range of consciousness vs just what we see in the outer or others creating. It is about looking at our true desires and aligning them with our individual light and path. To be mindful is to be aware of the good of the whole.

We grow by fulfilling our Desires. We become aware of who we are as the mirror of life reflects back to us through our experiences and relationships. Through Mindful Desire we begin to realize not only our true nature but the tremendous support of the universe.

Our Desires may include a new house, car, coffee table or dress.  And yes, it is ok to desire material things. It is important to remember that our things are temporary items that serve us. It is ok to choose to live in comfort and beauty. But, in the process of being mindful, we may select products with a longer life or made of sustainable materials for the good of our earth and humanity. We may decide that less is more.

Our Desire may be to call forth a new love interest, job experience, a new hobby or to make new friends. We may feel the desire to grow in love, patience, understanding or wisdom. Our Desires are as diverse as our perceptions, but we are all seeking to experience and feel.

Often we do not give ourself permission to acknowledge or hope for fulfillment of our desires. This week, our homework is “Dare to Dream.”

*Journal your Desires. You may have 2 or 20 things on your list. Just let them flow.   Sometimes when we are on the verge of something new, we feel or sense a desire that has not yet reached a point of understanding or visualization. In this case, go into meditation and ask what you are seeking to feel or grow. When you have finished your list, look at each desire and answer the questions below.

*What do you want to gain with each desire?

*What do you want to feel with each desire?

*Can you visualize yourself in the fulfillment of this desire?

*Which desire really seems to stand out and resonate with you at this moment?

May you feel and know the love and support of the universe this week as you open your heart to Desire.
