8-Releasing Fear—Opening to Abundance

What is Abundance?  We often have different ideas on the subject. Some people equate abundance strictly with financial prosperity and material possessions, but it is so much more.  In Websters abundance is defined as plentifulness of the good things in life.  Though most of us desire the good things in life, what I may describe as the good things in life may vary from your idea.

Spiritually speaking abundance may equate with abundant love, companionship, friendships, outer and inner support, security, respect, beauty, prosperity, wisdom, freedom to create and express self, joy, peace, health and perfection, etc.  When we open to receive and believe, God provides us with all the perfect tools we need to draw and create our rightful abundance.  Gods greatest desire is to aid us in fulfilling our dreams.  The time it takes to fulfillment is dependent on us and our desire to grow, to listen and to do our part.

Fear is our biggest foe when it comes to living our abundance.  It is destructive and creates limitation.  It breeds stress and distorts reality. It creates the need for masks—hiding pieces of who we are.   Our masks are often mistaken for “who we are”—The doctor, the mother, the minister are experiences that have allowed me to love and grow.  I own them in consciousness, but they are not the totality of who I Am.

It can be difficult to release a given fear.  Jesus said, “to Become the Master, Act as or Be the Master.”  We begin the process of releasing fear through the mastery of living our spiritual abundance—love, understanding, joy, peace, patience and so on.

*Fear of not being good enough or deserving.

Simple answer.  You are a Child of God.  You are growing.  Be as kind to yourself as you would be to others.

Affirmation:

I Choose to Love Mankind and Understand that Another’s Perception is not My Truth.  I Am Loved.  I Am Unique and I Choose to Do My Best.  I Share My gifts Freely with the World.

*Fear of not being supported.

We would all be so amazed if we could see the amount of support—within and without, that surrounds us just waiting for us to give permission—free will.

Affirmation:

God Loves and Supports Us in All Things (even if we fall on our face or run into that proverbial wall).  I Am Surrounded by Beings of Light—Guides, Teachers and Angels—that  Work with Me on My Path.  As I Open My Heart and Do My Best, I Draw People to Support My Dreams.

*Fear of being misunderstood.

We perceive life and our experiences based on where we are standing in the moment—this includes past experience, our reactions to those experiences and the current choices to be made.  Free will—free choice and free minds lead to many different beliefs and ideas.  We react differently to any given situation.  True communication allows us to try and clarify our words or stance without trying to sway or force another to believe as you do.  If the misunderstanding remains than it is ok to agree to disagree.

Affirmation:

It is Ok if Others do not Understand or Agree with Me.  I Grant Others Clarification and Difference of Opinion.

*Fear of not knowing our exact course or path in life—fearing we are running out of time and or resources.

We are all unique and have gifts to share with the world.  For some, we just seem to come in knowing, for others it’s not as clear, the path to knowing requires a series of steps and growth.

 Affirmation:

I Live in the Present, Accepting, Creating, Listening to the Steps Along the Way.  I Ask for Clarity.  Time is an Illusion.  I Am Supported in Gods Abundance.

*Fear of our ability to create a prosperous life.

Money, Money, Money—Yes, we all need it to survive, live, thrive and give.  What kind of a life is important to you?  Abundance is not just financial.  A Happy life is not always a prosperous life.  A prosperous life is not always a happy life.  Lack or fear of not having enough is a strong emotion-belief-intention that can prevent us from creating prosperity.  Trust in Gods Abundance and Love.  Take responsibility to do your part.  We have so much potential and support that we are unaware of.  Breathe it in and ask for clarity.  Give and you shall receive.

Affirmation:

I Am Open to Receive My Inheritance as a Child of God.  I Am Open to Living a Prosperous Life and Choose to Share My Gifts Freely with the World.

*Fear of physical limitation.

This is a fear I have lived with a good majority of my life.  My advice is not to succumb to the fear, but to accept limitation and see wholeness.  The more we fight a fear, the stronger it takes hold.  Remember that you are not what you can do.  You have a choice to rise above any situation.  Love your body.  Love your cells.  It is the temple of your spirit.

Affirmation:

I Am Open to Abundant Health. I Release all Stress.  I Fill my Body with Healing Light Daily as I Am a Perfect Child of God Doing my Very Best.

*Fear of the thoughts and beliefs of others.

The thoughts and beliefs of others are simply their perception of life.  Some people and their perceptions will closely align with ours, others will not.  Remember everyone is growing.  The emotions of others are simply how they express their perception.  Honor the right of others to disagree—often a hard lesson—embrace abundance, love, joy, compassion.  Ask to draw people into your life of like mind.  Stay open to change your mind.

Affirmation:

I Am Open to Abundance.  The Thoughts and Beliefs of Others are Simply their Perceptions of Life.  They are Growing as am I.  I Am Strong and Confident in who I Am Becoming.  I Am Open to New Ideas.

*Fear of expressing our true selves.

In truth, many of us have forgotten our true selves.  We are growing to regain the knowing of who we truly are.  We see ourselves through the eyes of the perceived norm or current fad.  When we begin to express ourselves through the eyes of spiritual abundance—as love, joy, peace, wisdom, etc—we know how loved we are.  Love your uniqueness.  Life is an experience.  Let it be a great one.

Afffirmation:

My Unique Light is My Gift to the Universe.  I Welcome My Individuality.  I Am Confident as I am a Child of God, Growing and Expressing.

*Fear of not being the best or number one.

We have all been given unique gifts to share with the world.  When we focus on giving, we are being our best.  We are each number 1 in Gods eyes.  If we could only see ourselves through the eyes of our higher Spirit, of God…

Affirmation:

I Work for the Good of the Whole Giving My Best and Receiving that which is Mine.

*Fear of not enough.

What is enough?  God is Abundance.  We are the Children of God.  Abundance is Our Inheritance.

Affirmation:

I Am Open to Abundance Knowing God Provides…I live in an Abundant Universe and Trust that I will Receive what is Rightfully Mine.

*Fear of change.

Without Change, we would not have free will or choice.  Life would not move forward.  We would not grow.  Change is the one constant in life.

Affirmation:

I Am Open to Receive the Abundant Gifts of Life.  Life is Change.  Change Creates New Opportunity, Choice and Forward Movement.

*Fear of Pain.

Pain is simply a warning signal to tell us to pay attention to what we are creating physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Many of us have fed our pain with the energy of fear and stress allowing it to grow stronger—what we focus on expands!  The cells of our body have consciousness and respond negatively to fear and pain.  Sometimes we need to retrain the cells.  We calm the cells of our body through the intention of health, perfection, balance, harmony and love.  Ask for knowing without the experience of pain.

Affirmation:

God is Always with Me.  I Choose to Retrain My Cells with Calm, Balance and Love.  I Choose to Listen to My Body.

*Fear of Death.

Death is simply the end of one experience and the return home. We are all connected, but the connection of Love spans the planes of existence.

Affirmation:

Death is but the Path Home.  We are Eternal—Never Separate from those we Love.

*Fear of an Apocalypse.

I Love how Sylvia Brown put it…  “It just Means the Tunnel Home is Going to Be Crowded.” That certainly does not mean that we ignore warning signs and strive to do our very best for Mother Earth and Humanity.

Affirmation:

I Do My Best for Our World and Mankind.  God will Guide Me Home when My Path in this Lifetime is Complete.  In the Meantime, I Choose to Love and Grow.

As we grow to become Gods Abundance, our fears become less and less.  This week, look at which fears you are holding?  Are their others?  Use the affirmations above to begin opening yourself to abundance and mastering—releasing your fears.
